Possible alternative to Viagra?
A new study using hydrogen sulphide, the compound that creates the nasty smell of rotten eggs and car exhaust fumes, has been shown to contribute to the erectile process. Scientists say that this could lead to the development of a new drug for treating erectile dysfunction and sexual arousal disorders. The effect of hydrogen sulphide is theorised to be similar to that of nitric oxide in Viagra. There has been no full scale study as of yet. They have only done research on rats and a few men who had undergone sex change operations. Of course, that leads me to ask – was it a man before or after the surgery? And how could their response be generalised to normal men? If it was a man to a woman, how could he/she have a penis? If it was a woman to a man, wouldn’t that penis be rather artificial? Would that injection cause any unpleasant odours? How will their partner react? I guess these would be some questions to be addressed before the final product release.
